Yup atc ALREADY ended so half the holidays are already gonneeeeeeee!!!! :((((((
And in like 4 days time, i'm going to be dragged of to harbin, china, where temperatures are -30++ and where i'm stuck for christmas :(
Yesh i know there are pretty ice sculptures and all, and i don't mind the cold weather THAT much, but i'm quite pissed that i'm spending christmas away from home!! :( christmas is my second favourite time of the year after my birthday :(
BOO HOO :(
And the winter clothes aren't exactly pretty.. :P
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
And i still got so many things i want to do, like ob music forest, om, shopping, CHRISTMAS, etc etc :((((

Havent been updating haha :P
anyway now it's already halfway through the holidays, with less than a month to go :(
Just came back from ATC Infinity 1/0 just now and i have lots of people to love :)
Firstly, patrol iHope, i love you people loads and having you guys with me is truly a gift that i am very lucky to receive. Thanks for always being sunny and cheerful and always remember ELMO!! (which is with my by the way :P)
Next, subcamp Aspire!!! Thank you guys so much for being so cooperative and supportive of everything, especially for so eagerly practicing campfire item and coming back for so many meetings :) I really had alot of fun with you guys (especially in 205 classroom :D) and i love you people very much.
A very big thank you to sec 4s - fomerly sec 3s just hours ago - for planning and running such a wonderful camp :) To seniors, for coming back and helping us out so much because we really needed you guys. Love you all!
Also, i would like to say a very big thanks to everyone i came into contact with during camp, including guiders, juniors and seniors. Thank you all so much for making up my guide family and showing me what the guiding spirit is about :)
Lasly, to my darling batchmates. Love you guys for always being there for each other. Love you guys for our funny moments and inside story of the banana song. Love you guys for our serious moments. Love you guys for our private bonding times. Love you guys for just being my batchmates :) BANANA BATCH FTW!!! :D:D:D

208 Encore 2010

I just wanna say that i love 208 so so so very much and i am really not ready to leave you guys! DramaFest was awesome and the night of 3rd November 2010 was honestly the best night of my life yet :) It's all thanks to my dear eighters who made that night the best night and for giving me so many memories, both good and bad. :)
This year has really been an emotional roller coaster for me, in terms of class bonding and class spirit. Our first project this year was night trail, and honestly, till today, i still can't put aside all the disappointment :( When VC mentioned night trail just now in class, i was tearing up because i thought of how, for me, DramaFest sort of made up for the disappointment Night Trail gave us. I also can remember so clearly all the tears that we shed after Night trail... oh god i'm actually crying while writing this :P but i think that i don't need to completely forget about night trail, because it is still a memory, a very precious memory of 208 that i will remember, for better or for worse.
After night trail came funfair and that was awesome, so much more better than night trail, and i started to see how much fun we could have as a class. Although we had countless of disagreements whie planning our stall, it still was a success in the end and i, for one, had fun :)
Then came DramaFest. I think it is the best thing that has happened to 208, not only because we actually WON, but also because we really put our heart and soul into this project, especially Denise and Vivian. The last minute panic about voice projection and all just before encore night made it so much more memorable because it showed us that even though we may encounter the biggest of problems, we can still overcome it and acheive the best, simply because we are 208, and eighters are fighters :)
So, the year with 208 ended with popping of champagne (sparkling juice) from our hampers that we won from being the audience's choice on encore night and being the best play :)

To 208, the best class ever.

INTERTWINED ILLUSIONS
OMG WE GOT IN.
i swear, i dunno if i was more nervous before performing or while waiting for the results.
Never in my life have i felt so much in one night :)
Firstly, it started off with our dear Best Actress, the awesome one and only LIN ZI QI!!!!
We thought she would be late for the full dress rehearsal and were kind of panicking haha
but she really made it on time so that was like a huge relief.

Then, i had trouble (again) putting on my contacts.
Somehow the one in my left eye keeps folding and yesterday my eyes were very dry :P
and until now my eye still kinda hurts :P
Then when i FINALLY put it on, my vision was quite blur... maybe i got my degree wrong (AGAIN)
So i was panicking abit :P
So sorry to Mavis and everyone who were looking for me while i was in the toilet putting on my contacts :P

Makeup was so funny!!!!
Huilin gave me green eyebrowns haha and i still think i looked like a ghost :P
I think it was because of the silver glitter...

Ok, so while we had so much time waiting, i got a major case of NERVOUS,
esp while waiting backstage, just before the performance...
i tried to calm myself down, but everytime i thought about the performance, i would have a mini panic attack, like a sudden pang in my heart and i will go all fidgety and well, panicky...

Finally, the time for our big show came, and i just could not sit still backstage :P
it was just so nerve wrecking, thinking that this was our one and only chance to do the class proud in DramaFest, in front of audiences and judges....
AHHHH!!!!!!!

Siewrong had so much expression in her first monolougue!!!
i was thinking, wow, siewrong! great job!
Then Sijia was so calm during the performance, even when the audience laughed abit when her suspenders fell off during our first monolougue, she still did the monolouge really well :)
Claudia really looked like a guy! :) even my dad said so haha :P
i also could tell that Amy, Yunni and Yingtze were also putting in everything they had, especially freeze frame, when i watched them from backstage during the scene where claudia and siewrong were having their couple conversation :)
And Ziqi was the best. :)
Although i didnt really see her, i could hear her so clearly while i was lying on the floor, and for a while, i completely forgot about the audience and was just listening to her monolouges... I'm serious!! :)
Everyone was just fantastic ♥
Especially Denise and VC and everyone else who have worked so hard and have been there for each other anytime, anywhere, for anything - Backstage crew, publicity team, fund raising team - everyone was awesome ♥

When Ziqi was saying her final lines and curtain call finally came, all i wanted to do was just run offstage and start jumping about!!
It felt SO good. :)
It felt even better when we finished PSLE! :D
Really, at that moment, i didn't really care if we got into encore night or not, because we all did our best and i could feel it.
We were all just hugging and jumping for joy and basically making an ass out of ourselves :)
If you watched our performance, you probably would have a hard time imagining those scary girls onstage going all gaga and giggly and high backstage, making a fool out of themselves :) haha :D
But it's true, i just couldn't stop smiling :D

After that we entered the circle seats upstairs and watched our montage :)
We agreed to just cheer for the first photo and enjoy the rest in silence.. :P
Then the guest judge came up and said a few words (alot la...)
She mentioned stuff about how it was kinda funny (weird) that young girls like us would choose to do so many horror/sad stories and that maybe we could do stuff that are closer to the heart. Then she mentioned stuff like personal preferences and etc that i felt was NOT in favour of our class and i could feel my heart sinking...

Finally, the BIG MOMENT came. Time to announce the three classes moving on to Encore night.
First, 204 - Grey Happiness.
Ok, feelings still manageable, we still had 2/3 chance, though i was already so nervous...

Second, 202 - Shattered
Major panic. we only had one last chance left! It was US or nothing. I swear i was squeezing Denise and Vivian's hands so tight i think i could have burst them... There was just so much tension in the air and i could feel my heart pounding slowly but so clearly, which made me even MORE nervous and just so scared. Could we get through? Lastly,.............

OH. MY. GOSH.
OH MY OH MY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We practically just started jumping and hugging like mad and screaming and laughing and smiling and
OH MY GOSH!!!!
We did it!!!!!!
i was covering my mouth and like just jumping, i mean, i didn't believe it, WE WERE THROUGH!!!
I think that it was because we were announced last that made us to nervous.. i mean, it was our last chance, all or nothing. And we got it. We finally got it!!
I think it was also the fact that we were announced last that made the feeling even more incredible, it's hard to describe, but it's just like magic, just like in a typical Disney movie where they go for competitions and and are the last to be announced IN :)
The feeling was just so awesome and incredible, just thinking about it makes me so happy :)

Following that, she also announced the two best actresses.
The first one was the 205 girl who acted as the boy in blue shirt, Chee cheong fan i think..
Sorry i didnt catch her name... :(
Next was our very own Mad Woman, for her incredibly natural and just jaw-droppingly awesome performance. After all her hard work, Ziqi really deserved it :)

There were also other awards, such as Best Production, which went to 204 i think..
Surprisingly, we also got Best Ensemble... but the weird thing is, i don't remember us even HAVING an ensemble...
VC then told me it was the part where we circled the spotlight in the beginning. OH. THAT'S an ensemble? I had no idea haha :P
Then came the audience choice award.
To be completely honest, i thought that 205 - Cheeter would get it... i mean it was super funny and if i were i audience, i would have chosen them... i even shouted 205 so loudly when they were asking us who did we think would get it.

But it turned out to be us...
I was so stunned i didnt even clap.
Honestly, i didnt expect it at all and to be truthful, i wanted 205 to get it because they deserved it and i liked it alot because of its awesome humour :)
But it was us...

Oh well...
So the 7 classes on Encore Night are:

Exams OVER!

SO MANY THINGS GOING ON!!!

ok, firstly, EXAMS OVER!!! :D
OMG happy yay yay yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

We finished on the 19th, like on tues then cos 20th is Ziatoot's bday so like almost half the class went to orchard and surprised her with a ginormous bear which is taller than me!!! :D the pictures on fb are priceless :)

Then went to watch tong yan... i thought it was quite scary... apparently SOME people thought it wasnt :P
cos my jacket is partially see through, so zia and i were sharing my jacket, looking through it to lessen the effect :) haha i thought it was quite smart of me :D

Then on Wed, DramaFest rehearsals started... INTERTWINED ILLUSIONS!!!
My group's script got chosen so im pretty familiar with my role :)
Honestly, i love my role as the sister :)
So even though these few days are technically holidays for us students cos its marking days, we have been going back alot...
but rehearsals are fun :) we all get super high during rehearsals haha :D
When we moved to the audi, i thought the lighting was pretty awesome, esp the spotlights, though i thought they were quite scary as well when you stand in them :P
My hip hurts from falling but i'm having fun! :D

On thurs went bugis area with vivian!
We ended up ABIT lost at first near little india cos we took 170 (thanks SQ :P)
then we made it eventually and i saw so many pretty things i wanted!!!!
In the end just bought a cute shirt and friendship bands with vi...
MUST GO AGAIN WITH MORE MONEY HAHA XD

Then yesterday went to watch YOU AGAIN with denise
that show is seriously funnaye!!! :D
haha :)
I recommend it as a MUST WATCH :)
Though yesterday in the theatre while they were playing the ads, we couldnt see half of them cos they actually forgot to remove the cover of the projector :P So funny :P

Mrs Lee Kuan Yew passed away.
If Mr Lee Kuan Yew is the founder of modern Singapore, then Mrs Lee is our dear mother, the one who silently nurtures her children, just like all mothers.

Mrs Lee Kuan Yew, aged 89.
She passes on, leaving behind 4 million children, a first-world metropolis city and many more brilliant generations to come.

I'm not good with words, because now i have no idea what to say.
I did not know Mrs Lee personally because she kept a really low profile, but if i know what MM Lee has done for Singapore, then to say she contributed to Singapore's success would be an understatement.

So i know that this is a very - almost too short - tribute, but i think that the media has already told everyone about the wonderful life Mrs Lee lived and i have no need to repeat it here. I just want to remember her, rembember her selfless contributions and to remember the mother of Singapore.

HI! :) havent been posting in a long time... mainly cos EOYs are coming and i'm super freaked!!! :(

ok DRAMA performance is OVER and i thought our group ROCKED!!! XD
Its about this phsycopathic woman whose husband died and now shes mistaken a complete stranger to be her husband. this guy has his own family- a wife and two daughters, so when the crazy woman sees him with his wife or daughters, she will think that he is having an affair and kills them, ONE BY ONE XD
In the end she even kills the man and then she puts on clothing and accessories that the three women/girls had that make her envious. she thinks that she is pretty and has acheived her 'husband's' dream girl. Yea so in the end everyone dies, she goes loony and my butt hurts from falling to the floor everytime i die during the rehearsals :)
Rehearsals are fun though :D esp in m4 where you can have the whole airconditioned room :)

IS OVER!!!!

firstly, i'm sad cos the flame is gone and everyone is going home.
then, i;m happy cos Singapore did it and i can't be more proud :)
i went to the closing with denise and when i saw the flame going out, i really felt like crying :(

i saw lots of not so good comments about Singapore, like 'this will be the first time the host country does not win a medal'
EXCUSE ME. we got 5 ok?
i know we can't compare to China etc., but for us, just hosting the YOG makes every Singaporean feel like we have won something far greater than gold. :)

i also went to watch gymnastics (girls prelim)17/8, table tennis quater finals on sun 22/8, athletics finals on monday 23/8, girls football on tues 24/8 and boys football finals 25/8 :)

at the gym event, i watched Viktoria Komova compete!!! :D omg!!! :)
she was wearing a sparkly green leotard and i got a few videos of her :)

then during table tennis i watched our very own Isabelle Li win Croatia's paddler :)

athletics was crazy :D haha i went with Christine and she dragged me of to get photos and autographs of the athletes :) we mainly got the USA team :) omg they were all so tall!!!

girls football wasnt so boring as everyone said it would be... the finals even ended with a penalty shootout, which, in my opinion, held me on the edge of my seat :)
In the end Chile won thanks to an overwhelming crowd of Chilean supporters and their star of a goalkeeper who managed to save the goal that led them to victory :)

boys football was the best of course with Singapore's Cubs playing for bronze :)
i even brought my Singpore flag and wore it haha :D
got lots of photos and videos of everything :)

shall slowly put them up... maybe one day one event?
i also have closing and opening (bts) photos and videos :D
shall slowly load them too :)

closing was great, but opening was definitely better :)
i thought that opening was a party to welcome the world to Singapore
and closing was a party for the stars of YOG, our dear athletes :)

opening was awesome too!!! and i still remember my heart beating like 1000 times a minute backstage, especially when the national anthem was finishing, which meant that it was showtime for Origins!

i watched a youtube video shot by a spectator at the green zone about the origin performance, and i thought our lightsticks were ok :)
but what was most pissing that someone STOLE my lightstick after the performance!!! :(
we could bring it back but someone just took it away just as i turned my back :(
oh and they STILL havent given me my performer's pass :(
i want that pass so badly :(
shall find some way to get the purple volunteer shirts haha XD

i bought lyo and merly pins :) (being the badge and pin collector as i am :P)
shall put photos of them :)
and Lyo and Merly toys are SOLD OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(
my mum also wants them and we went to AMK hub to see if there were any left...
Sadly they were all returned to HQ...
my mum wants to call the YOG HQ and ask if we can buy some haha XD
hope we can! Lyo and Merly are like the faces of SYOG :D

anyway i hope that through my videos and photos, you can see the spirit of YOG through my eyes,
and the Singapore YOG sprit will live on forever!!!

I don't know whether to be happy or sad...

Happy cos YOG is finally here and the world got to see Singapore

or sad cos it's over and all that's left is memories...

For months, we have been putting our all into more than 100 hours worth of rehearsals just for a 7 minute performance last night.

The 34-student strong YOG Nanyang Girls joined Origins, guided by the one and only:

MISS PRICILLIA!! (i hope this is how you spell her name)

And i still remember our very first rehearsal in Damai :)

Miss Pricillia was doing warm ups with us and i ALREADY couldnt catch up :P

Hi! Sorry havent been posting for a while cos exams just ended and doing quite abit of stuff now :)
1. Watching Pi Li MIT (much to Carissa's delight)
2. Yog rehearsals
Yeah ok so that's mainly the ongoing things right now :P
Quite slow with Pi Li MIT cos of the stupid youtube thing... quite slow sometimes
Mysoju is even worse and sugoideas can't find it
So i am stuck with age-old youtube :)

I think Pi Li MIT is quite interesting la :) i like the detective part (it's been a while since i watched detective dramas etc.) but sometimes it gets abit too complicated for my pea brain and i get confused, plus it's in Chinese haha so i can't grasp it that fast :)
So, exams ended last wed (almost one week!! how time flies :P) and have had super alot of yog rehearsals - wed, thurs and sat. there's one tomorrow so i hope that one goes well as it is mre or less our last rehearsal... YOG JIA YOU!!! :)

Fri cross country in the morning (barely ran cos the YOG shoes cut my feet.. super pain)
then after cross country i finally could relax like after-exam relax :)
went orchard with D!! :) (as usual :P)
Let me describe our whole endevour (if thats how you spell it :P)

First, we missed FOUR buses. Can you believe it?
At Macritchie, there were two buses in our faces, but by the time we realised we could take them, they drove off.
Then at the busstop opp st margaret's, we just got off 93 when the 174 in front of us drove off... super pissed...
then waited for another 174, that one literally drove off in our faces cos it was too full :(
so yeah we were super tired, super hungry and super pissed.
by the time we (finally) got to Ion, the Swensens queue was ok la... but the food came damn slow :(
we were waiting for our food for so long that we decided to order side dishes as well but turned out that by the time we were halfway done with the main course, we were already too full to carry on :P haha :D but i forced down my prawn side dish (ok, i left ONE) and i actually ordered a sundae!! haha :D
when we finished, i was so freaking full that i felt like puking (but the food was great :) so walked around abit, went Kino (like full-fledged nerds :P - thanks D) and found that we were so tired and sleepy like we were walking around in a daze :) haha :D
ohohoh i also found Cheryl's long overdue bday pressie.. shall not put it up here lest she comes and reads (which is quite impossible but just in case...) cos i havent given it to her yet :P

Sat, YOG
Sun National Day eve so Geraldine's uncle invited us to Marina residences for BBQ! :)
Lemme say that the view was AWESOME.
You could see the whole Marina area from the 17 storey pool!!! :D
So of course i went swimming (short while only la...) but i lay on my back and looked up at the three towers around the pool :) so awesome!! :D
Must rmb to post the pics... thought you can't really tell how magnificent the view was thanks to my awesomely lousy camera skills :P

Mon - yesterday - national day... slept till 2pm (havent done that since forever :P)
watched Pi Li MIT whole day (afternoon) until the national day parade :)
watched it on TV... i have to say that i LOVE CORRINE MAY!!! She is my fav Singaporean singer!! I love her Five Loaves and Two Fishes and Journey which had a cover done by Angela Zhang in the drama Love At The Dolphin Bay :) AHHHHH

but Amber Kuo was really cute and her voice was so sweet and special :)
it was also kind of a promotional movie for Taiwan so they showed all the Taiwan street food and all :)

i would'nt watch it again but i don't regret it that's for sure :)

cos after yog we will reach back quite late, so the boarding school is open to us

just for like whichever night have practice.

yea so i opted to stay cos weiting and yingtze asked me to.

Yesterday had our first yog combined rehearsal :)
Super tiring like it lasted until 10 plus
but was quite fun la :)
Urm the dancing in the water part was quite weird and abit gross at first
esp since all our shoes were soaked and the quite dirty water kept splashing up everytime we took a step
but after a while we got used to it and it became quite normal la :D
MUST BRING XTRA SHOES.
but then after we got it, whenever we took a step it like squelched so quite uncomortable
then the gross part was when i took out my shoes, my feet were all wrinkled and some skin even started peeling off :P bleah
but the dancing in water was quite a special experience la :D

the pissing thing i didnt like was GETTING there.
i had to go to the platform on my own cos i had heritage trail earlier
so i alighted at city hall, walked all the way to suntec, waited for the stupid bus for like 30 mins, gave up, and ran all the way to the pit building. very tiring leh...
then when reached the pit building my phone batt died
so i waited for abit before they came out and i rushed to get my props.. :P
super awkward when i went with the marshall la...
he was like: they tell us to run but i scared you fall then my fault.
EXCUSE ME.
i can run.
and i am not made of tofu or something.
yea so i jogged behind him :P
quite awkward for me :P
haha
well basically we waited around for very long
and the instructor made changes... AGAIN.
mainly becaue she realised we cant put our lightsticks down on the water
so we have to dance with one hand only...
well we'll see how it goes :P

but during the nigh rehearsal the water was super dirty and cold when it came to our turn
esp at the sides cos for some reason it was deeper :P
at least im dancing in the middle :)

曖昧's tune is very sweet and i esp love the start of the chorus :)
The soft part at the beginning leads up to the chorus very well and the tune is also catchy :) that's why it's like stuck in my mind now :)

你在，不在 also has a catchy chorus and i feel it's more empowering than 曖昧. i feel that Amber Kuo has a very unique voice... Abit like Lenka in The Show. (The Show is also super nice :))

Overall, these two songs have basically the same genre and have the same 'feel'...

Missing primary school life

OMG just finished rushing out the math SIA oral presentation script. Nightmare :(
At least tmr is youth day holiday so can just concentrate on bio :)
Was turning my room upside down looking for my lost bio and chi stuff (which still are missing) when i came across a file with all my primary school stuff inside.
i found certificates, pictures from ma que yao ge ming (yes carissa i actually photocopied some pics :P), the secondary schools book thing and the 6a phonebook created by rui yu and dingjie i think :)
As i flipped through the stuff, i thought about how simple primary school life used to be.
Just do the worksheets assigned to you, deadline was the next day and no sias or whatever shit projects.
And i realised how great a jump my life has taken in just one and a half years.
In primary school, my greatest worry was purely PSLE.
Now, i worry about everything. :(
I almost felt like crying just now, like why must it get so hard and difficult?
I was perfectly fine with my primary school life, so simple and relatively happier compared to now.
In those days, sleeping at 11pm was way too late.
Now when my siblings sleep at 11, i comment that it is still so early.
I think i have gone mad :(
Things have really changed alot, and i have never really realised it until now.
In primary school, staying back after school never passed 5pm.
Now i reach home at 8 almost 3 times a week.
I really want my primary shool life back :(
Now i understand what my teachers meant when they said secondary school was going to be different. Too different.
So, listening to sec 3&4 seniors complaining about their workload now, (Charmaine was practically screaming about enjoying sec 2 life while i can just now at ah kong's bday gathering) i really hate to think about the next 2 years.
Wait. Next 4 years actually.
i remember this one time in at the start of primary 6.
i was sitting in my bed thinking about PSLE that was to come, then i thought about graduation and leaving PC and never going back.
I thought about how weird and scary that would be, but now, it turns out that i barely felt anything when we moved on.
Until now. :(
I really miss PC and everything that came with it at that time and how much i wish we could all just go back and enjoy simple classroom lessons for just one more day...
Come to think of it, there was this one time this year i was out doing something (can't remember) and i was super tired, so when someone asked me what my school was, I almost blurted out pei chun public school :P
and during the recent street sales, we had to fill in this indemnity form or something like that and when they asked for our school, i almost wrote "Pei Chun Public School" :D
hehe :) i admit i was tired then too :) hehe not thinking straight :P
So, my point is, i miss the simple life, but some people may tell me to stop thinking about the past and concentrate on now and the future.
Please, let me miss it for just one more time...

Firstly, today, bus, embarassing. Saw my churchmate on the bus... Dunno if he saw me but i definitely saw him.

Quite awkward for me tho i dunno if he saw me... i was carrying a hell lot of stuff, i thought i would look quite toot :P

Kept looking down when i was alighting and trying to look at my senior instead of accidentally looking at him... just one and a half more years, andrea. you can do it.

Anyway, CCA today was :(

Footdrill was so tiring and i kept messing up the turning commands :(
Dunno if i can get picked for Founder's Day parade..

So super tired now and i really want to sleep but i need to finish my homework before sun so i can revise bio

And i have alot of homework

It's only the first week of school for heaven's sake!!!

tomorrow morning have heritage trail trial run in the morning then afternoon have yog till evening...

somehow have to squeeze in reading romeo and juliet... i swear i don't understand anything except that there is alot of sexual content.

i thought last time people were more conservative than now???

so today youth day was quite relaxing, our class were supposed to athletes so i just wore shirt and shorts plus sport shoes :) really easy and comfy :D

I have to stop treating my blog like twitter.
I don't have a twitter account but i always have this urge to just pop a post on what's on my mind, which is kind of pissing me off.
So i have decided to do this post to remind myself that this is a BLOG. Not twitter.
Anyways, SCHOOL REOPENED. BLEAHHH XP
To tell you the truth, i am quite happy for something to do (like go to school) but i was perfectly happy with my fantasy world during the hols too :)
Today was second day of school and dance KILLED me.
Why on earth was i stuck with Chelsea and Mavis for the xia yao thing... they are so freaking flexible!!!
we did it standing up somemore leh!!!
My back is still recovering from that.
Actually i didn't even do it while we were kneeling so when chen laoshi asked us to do it standing up i almost died :P
i am close to doing a split on my right alr!! :) Just a teeny bit more :)

I feel fat.
I guess that's what i get for slacking so much during the hols. i only went to run like twice in the whole month. that was when my bro and cousin dragged us for soccer.
Speaking of soccer, Germany thrashed England 4-1!!! though i thought England deserved that goal... the one the whole world is talking about.
Anyway, back to being fat, and Taiwanese xiao chi is super oily and almost all fried, though it tastes heavenly... I had that kind of food almost every night for 8 nights. I put on at least 5 kg. I'm serious.
Resolution No 1: Go stadium and jog every week. (Blocks week excluded)
This should help :) haha :D cos now my thighs are super fat.

Then schoolwork also cannot slack alr cos this is our last chance to buck up for EOYs...
Resolution 2: Finish all homework such that Sunday's are kept free (this is going to be hard)
Somehow i feel pressure now to perform cos next year is streaming and this is going to affect the rest of my NY life...
Am i going to regret the choice i made in Sec 2? Or am i going to leave NY 2 years later with everything i wanted?
Choice one: Trip science. I hate bio but my sci teacher said i should go for it... I really dunno...
Choice 2: Higher Humans. Geog is great but history is thumbs down. I really like geog and can perform for geog but not history. Sadly Geog and Hist come together. :(
Choice 3: A. Lit plus chinese program. I really love both languages and thank God my chinese is mproving, but LA is not on par these days... I feel like I am losing LA and English :( Really scared one day my LA will just crash. I am even writing this post very very very carefully so as to choose perfect tenses and sentence structures. In the past all these would come naturally to me, but now its like gone... :( Really must improve LA. Note: Read Romeo & Juliet.

Must buck up! Bio block just one week from today!!!
I feel like my future is so uncertain :(

Hey back from Taiwan :)
honestly, i miss it already :( it was so pretty and great and the people and food were awesome!!! :) I swear i will go back someday...

We went to this beach on the third day and instead of sand, it was all pebbles!! :)

this was somewhere in taichung... :) the waves were gorgeous :)
then comes my fav street food... OYSTER OMELETTE!!! :D 蚵仔煎!!! :)

i thought my tour guide looked abit like show luo... but then again maybe only his hairstyle :P haha sorry this time no pics to show ya'll :P

whatelse??.. oh yea :) 101 :) it was like WOW huge :) it went all the way up to the clouds so when we went up to the 89th floor, all we could see were clouds... hehe :) then the lift was super fast as well... we went from the 5th floor to the 89th floor in 37 secs. can you believe it??? 37!!! wow FAST. :D

then another thing was the Taipei Dome... My dad decided to just drop by and take a look on our last night and guess what... it just so happened that Jay Chou's concert was being held that very evening... so there were like WOW amount of ppl queueing outside the dome and so many ppl lounging about inside... i wanted to use the toilet in there but the queue was outrageous. Both sides were equally long. i guess this is what you get for being Jay Chou.

yea we also got to do so many things... like visit a farm, stay in a lodge, ride bikes in the paddy fields, look at all the gorgeous and magnificent mountains, visit countless of night markets, see millions of spongebob & co.s EVERYWHERE (yes Huixuan. SPONGEBOB & CO.), food food and more food, bullet train, pluck tea leaves in a plantation, see amazing rock formations, take a river ride in the storm, temples, release paper lanterns into the sky, make so many wishes, admire Taiwan... Gorgeous ♥ Bullet train :)

haha havent been doing a proper post lately... maybe been quite lazy :P

been spending alot of time on youtube watching ramdom mvs.. but mainly about you're beautiful!! :) haha XD

the drama is freaking nice ok, and its now showing on tv! :) dunno which channel but i wanna buy the dvd :) youtube can be frustrating :P and mysoju has some broken parts, like how ep 13 was completely gone, and it was the most exciting episode!!! so in the end had to download some viikii viewer to watch :x

But You're Beautiful is super nice :) and i think park shin hye is a very pretty actress (esp with her short hair :), JeongYonghwa is handsome and leehongki was cute... esp his hairstyles haha :)

back from malacca trip!! :)

honestly, it was ok only cos i practically come from malacca (my dad's malaccan) so it wasnt so exciting for me... and i felt that just visiting places is not enough... you have to walk the streets of malacca and mix around with the people before you can fully absorb malacca :) Plus, personally i thought the school visit was a tad too short... i didnt even get to visit the classrooms before we took off again :( the school part was abit disappointing for me.

well, now we are back and its the holidays!! :) yippe!!! no need to wear school uni for one whole month! :)

and i'm going to taiwan! hehe :) dunno if i can see some taiwanese stars :P haha :D
the korean drama you're beautiful is awesome :) their fashion sense rocks :) haha :) and their acting also la :) lee hongki and Jung YongHwa are so cute and handsome!!! :) i swear i'm going to learn korean :) vivian: BUY KIMCHI AND DIE!!! XD

Doing this post while i should be studying... Oh well :)
i have half a mind to change my blogskin, but to what?
I find that the fonts are a teeny bit too small, quite hard to make any impact :)
Been hooked onto Taylor Swift songs lately (again)
And i quite like her lyrics, some of them really mean things to me. Like the post below :)
Sometimes, I can't wait to grow up and realise my dreams. But other times I just feel like shrinking so I don't need to face what's in front of me now... It's quite maddening.
Abd other times you just feel like you're stuck and have absolutely no idea what to do next. I'm feeling like this alot lately.
Then you have doubts, things that you're afraid of and it leaves you feeling absolutely lost and scared.
Throw these altogether and you have a teenage life.
Gosh, I really don't know what to do now. I'm so tired, so lonely, so stuck. It's just hard to keep smiling all the time. Somehow i feel that every smile i try to put on my face is a prick to my heart and it hurts. Because I know that these smiles are not real; they are not true to me. LSC 2010

came back from LSC three days ago and i'm drained
this year's LSC was definitely a special experience for me
yup, night trail...
i wouldnt say it went great
i also wouldmt say it was horrible,
but it was special all the same.
it started off with mrs soh's scary announcement :)
and then there were so many problems along the way - reports of students not cooperating, playing the game wrongly, missing limbs, problems with the letters ON the limbs... my phone was ringing non stop...
i swear i have run the whole length of the school at least 10 times that night...
my only regret was that i didnt go to the classroom games...
but i think my favourite was the rooftop hall and the binzu in the toilet :)
only 202 made it to the bonus station (which was actually at the library) before the teachers stopped the whle thing :(
well, it ended with alot of us learning that we've got to fail sometimes, but when we do, we are not alone.
208 bonded in a very different yet strong way and i believe we will all see 208 in a different light :)
i won't forget this.

Anyway, went to Universal Studios Singapore today!!! :D
i have to say Spacebattle Galactica (I think) was the most awesome ride ever invented!!!
especially cylone, the blue when where they twist you upside down!!! :D i can still feel the motion while typing this :)
and i am proud to say i went on the Revenge of the Mummy ride ALL BY MYSELF :)
hehe :D
the whole place was awesome!!! at first i couldnt believe it was in Singapore!!! :P
i would definitely reccommend it :) though when it officially opens the long queues are inevitable
oops... tuition starting soon...

NANYANG GUIDES THINKING PARADE 2010

Today was my first thinking day parade, and it's one i''ll never forget.
We had been practicing so hard for this day, and i'm glad it paid off.
However, just before the parade, Wei Qi got cramps and could'nt join us.
I could tell all of us were shocked and abit panicked because Weiqi was our commander and we had been practicing with her for so long...
During the parade, when the national anthem was being played, i don't know if anyone noticed, but i was trembling from head to toe, because next would be the school song and then our part. I am proud to say that we managed to do just fine with Kah Min as timer, although our bangs were not fully coordinated, but i still think that we were awesome :) Way to go colour party!!!
After all of it was over, we ran to the side of the quadrangle, and i gave Gladys darling a huge hug. A surge of relief, pride and joy swept over me, and for a moment, i felt like crying... Those moments of uncertainty, panic and pain as a result of practicing, was most definitely worth it. i won't forget the feeling colour party has given me :) Its awesome.
i don't know if anyone felt the same was as me, and although i might have been the only one, i will always treasure and remember this feeling :)
However, as i told this to my friends not from guides, they found me weird to be so concerned about 'just a parade' and no matter how much i tried to convince them, i realised that sometimes you have to BE THERE to truly understand.

Happy CNY?

For CNY celebrations right, we of course went back to PCPS :) but sadly this year very little ppl came back leh... :(
So the usual, went to find the teachers in the classroom block, got chased out from the classroom block, found teachers along the stairs, couldnt find some teachers and spent the rest of the time loitering in the canteen waiting for others... O.o see if anything has changed next year... :D hehe
so then we were voting in the canteen whether to go movie or jonathan's aunt's hse... ya then in the end we went jonathan's aunt's hse which is like super big can?
In short, we mostly played truth or dare where kwan wei got pushed/jumped into the pool (yes, his aunt's house has a pool), some ppl played snooker or smth and the freakig big cinema-ish screen was like in front of me so i HAD to watch ben 10 :) hehe but ppl kept changing channel... ben 10 is nice ok! right vi? :D
ya... then me, ks and carissa got lost in the area ouside the hse cos we were going to carissa's hse which is so nearby, so we had to get help :P haha xD
yesterday was super fun lor :D
in the morning went popo and ahkong's hse aft church, got lotsa angpow then in the evening went uncle joe's hse where we gambled!!! xD hehe :)
but i lost like 15 bucks lor :( uncle joe got it all :(
Tmr Takeena is going to Australia alr.. gonna miss her...

Its the year of the tiger and things are different already. For one, this is the first time in recent memory that i'm spending CNY in Singapore! :)

just came back from cca and that was our THRID LAST rehearsal before the parade!!! O.o AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH help!!!
Ya so the usual, got lotsa stuff to do...
But dont know why, now a days i feel insecure sometimes :( peer pressure? Too much work? My own wishes and wants? Maybe... but i dont like this feeling, its sort of tearing me apart, really scary. i've tried to control it, telling myself that i am unique and cannot let anything get in the way of being who i am, but its really hard. my subconscious self is always comparing and its so frustrating!
Well, hope all these emotions will go away soon... cos i really dont like it :(

wow... how fast time flies. Soon kaka Sunarsih will be going home and i'll probably never see her again :( I will miss her. She has been with my family for 7 years, and I don't know how life will feel after she leaves. Although she and i have had umerous quarrels, i can sense that she still cares for all of us and i want to do the same for her, to make her feel loved. So i hope that we can keep in touch by letter-writing. I know it's selfish of me to tell her not to go home, so i wish that she will be happy. She is going home to be married to someone who loves her very much and i hope that she can be happy :)

But i figured out some christmas pressies and my fingers hurt from guitar playing

Cozette's ROCKING barbecue!

Yesterday's evening at Cozette's hse ROCKED!!!
We went to j8 for lunch first then took a bus to somewhere near NY and then walked
I was practically dragging Zia up the hill to Cozette's hse... Not to mention Rachel was dragging me and Zia, so... :P
ok, then we played water bombs!!! xD
so fun.... and wet!!!
Zia always kenna sabo-ed by well... EVERYONE xD
haha and somemore she wearing white leh... poor thing
When we finished using all the bombs, cozette took the hose and started spraying us, thus began another round of a watery fight :P
After we changed and everything, we started barbecueing!!! We were really hungry so we started at around 5pm.
5 leh!!!
So early!!!
But we had so many rounds of chicken wings, it leasted quite some time xD
Cozette's dog, cherie (i think its spelt like that), was uber cute!!!
we took some marshmallows and held it over Cherie's head and said 'up' to cherie
then cherie really jump up leh!!
so adorable!! :D
but while we were eating poor cherie kept following us around, occasionally changing targets...
but no food for her :( poor thing :)
after dinner we played some courage thing... super scary (well at least for me :P)
cos cozette's hse upstairs very dark at night, so we split up into pairs and each pair would take turns to go up to the rooms and find some specific items while the rest of the ppl would scare them :)
A bit like a haunted house and scavenger hunt thrown into one :)
i got stuck with zia which wasnt so bad...until it was our turn to be 'tested' for our courage :)
i couldnt even make it up up the stairs without zia clinging onto me and screaming for nothing... :P
but cozette and rachel really quite scary...
i think the best thing to do is the classic:
just position yourself at the wall right next to the door so when your 'prey' comes you just turn and scream
then the person will scream back
it works the best in the dark :D
anyway that worked the best, at least when scaring zia xP
haha :)
my fav was when i sat in a chair on the same side of the wall as the door and when rachel came in i said 'boo'
then she tripped!!!
i cant believe it actually worked!!!
but amy had a built-in torch in her phone so she didnt really get scared when it was her turn with xiaofan
and ks was blasting this loud music when she came up with sijia so defeated the purpose really...
Then we played hide and seek!!! in the dark!!! :)
i got two really great places which are:
in cozette's sister's cupboard, and i concealed myself with a black dress so in the dark, nobody could see me (really, when zia and rachel opened the cupboard, trying to find me, they actually closed it without realising i was there xD)
and under cozette's sister's mini sofa:)
the sofa was actually hollow underneath so nobody actually thought of looking there :)
even cozette herself didnt know it was hollow!!! xD
that was really genius :)
but ks, who kept saying it while me and xiaofan were seeking, was the mastermind behind this great hiding spot, except that she was too long to fit into it
i would have praised her if i wasnt too annoyed by her harping on how we had to find rachel quickly or she would run out of oxygen, etc etc...
And she wasnt exactly the quietest person there...
Anyway it ended there and cozette's dad kindly fetched us to NY busstop where our parents were waiting :)
Oh and did i mention Cozette's mum and maid's cooking are superb!!??
well, they are!!!
the barbecue was extra-delicious!!!!!!!! :D
that was seriously the best barbecue i've enjoyed so far :) (in recent memory anyway)

i havent studied anything for the timed trial and i damn scared we cant write a proper underlying problem...
damn that mdm yick and her LA files la...
i heck care, left it under my table in a mess xP
all the worksheets are stuffed into that small holder in front of the file instead of in the rings, which is why i bought a ing file in the first place...
anyways one last thing before i go that pissed me off...
the whole class was working to get the class breakfast done
so last night i ordred 6 pizza (cos pizza hut doesnt start delivering until 11.30)
then this morning i woke up 1 hour earlier to heat them up
then step into class ms liow say class beakfast cancelled!!! WTF la!!!!!
so we had to eat it during rescess which was bfore PE and some ppl nvr eat breakfast cos they were looking forward to the class breakfast.
luckily ms yeo kind and let us off like half an hour early so we wouldnt die of starvation or something
so when we finally got to eat, the pizzas were cold again...
if i get food poisoning due to eating cold pizzas i shall sue the person who cancelled our class breakfast
oh do u noe wad replaced our class breakfast?

srry havent been posting

im like hooked onto pet society and hot dog bush, a y8 game :D
anws, on fri had guides hor so we had sports fiesta!!

we played lots of games la but the captains ball hor,

the ball was a balloon with flour!!

so my team was like catch that balloon, catch that balloon!!!

then denise wanted to throw to me, then it amost reached me...

i put one finger on the balloon then it burst!!!

then xiao en and sec 3 senoir come take photo leh!!

so embarassing x)

but then i made peace sign for them then ran to toilet with denise xp

haha damn funny la!!

then got one game is styling hair one

walao that one i tell you ah,

it supposed to be my patrol mates use lots and lots of shampoo to style my hair like some character

then i got one long spike at the end of it

i was supposed to guess so i was trying sonic

i got the name from the game by sis and bro always play in malacca at my cussin's hse
they say very close so i was thinking and thinking and suddenly i randomly said astro boy then zhong leh!!

haha didnt look like astro boy lor!!

so when we washing up we had to use the basin to wash my hair and because of that my whole shirt got wet xD

oh then the next game was leg pail thing

we had to form groups of 4 and lie down on the foor (EWW) and use our legs to hold up this pail that was going to be slowly filled up by the sec 3

we had to hold it for like 15 mins ok, then everyone who was not lying on the floor came and say they want to help us lighten our load and took handfuls of the water and splash on us!!!

Nice help!!! XD

but like seriously lah, 15 mins on your back, completely wet and using your legs to support a pail of water.

it wasnt a game! it was torture!! pure and evil torture!!!!!!!!

not to mention the next morning we had the heritage trail run lor

where my group ran from chinatown point to MOM to subordinate court then to new parliament hse, just for the first station ok!!

we had 13 more to go.

AARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

at the end of the two days my legs were almost breaking off :P

but luckily on sunday aft church me denise chong and viv lee met at orchard cineleisure for neoprints!!! xD

then yesterday in sch viv realised that rachel was also from pl methodist so today viv brought her kindergarden photos

oh theres this girl in 113 called rebecca from track and she looks damn familiar then i remembered that i had a kindergarden classmate who was also called rebecca and looks exactly like her

so i asked viv and viv went to ask rebecca and its the same rebecca!!!! OMG!!! So qiao lor xD

like tha past few days gonna go crazy
yesterday took 3 papers ok, THREE papers!!!

ya so at the busstop i saw 157 coming leh

and it turned out to be 174!!!

so we like walked all the way back to the 157 route and zia was cursing me and i was laughing so damn hard xD
ok the next day me rachel and zia and cheryl were on 151 and then suddenly the bus jerked
then zia and rachel like staggered backwards
rachel was smart go the other way but that zia hor, fell straight backwards into a HCI guy!!! :D

Hi! Finally back in school :)
Actually the first week had already past and stuff like that but nvm :p
anyways, today i got bak my patchwork 3 and i got damn low marks larh!!
The Yicky Yick gave me 28/50 leh!! 56% onli!! i failed lorh!!!!!!
So angry! then she keep saying my sentence structure wrong and stuff like that

except all the FOA stuff has been postphoned coz of the H1N1

i stopped at the class party rite?
so here goes
i was planning to go early to buy germine and jay mi prezzie
but a certain carissa lim beat me to it
then i bought new flip flops at watsons (they were pinkish purple with a smiley face on it - matches my shirt from giordano the cheeruup collection thing)
oh then miss chua wanted to buy 1.5litre plain water n dragged us off to ntuc
then she picked up the botttle and put it down
saying she decided that it was too heavy and that at home she only lifted 2kg worth of weights or something like that
and i persuaded her to buy fruit water
actually i just pointed out that there was fruit water n she just took it
anyways
then cheryl carissa miss chua n me barged through macs
but nobody was dere
until we saw them outside at the bus interchange there

erm i tink we saw shannon low, mel and germine first (mel n germine were going to some cca thing at the east coast road safety thing b4 joining us)
then ng yan shen, boey rui yu and brandon
ng yan shen sorta scared shannon :)
like suddenly popped up behind her that type of scare
okok erm then alicia and jia qi and jinjie and dingjie and oh qi yuan came (i have to be honest, i didnt expect ohqiyuan to appear - no offence :D)

then we just stood around at the interchange (the entrance part)
and were totally in the way of the insurance company prudential, yah they were standing in a neat curved line waiting to get customers and the whole bunch of us were standing rite in fron of them doing nothing
and those were the nice ppl hu gave me the cocoa trees voucher for my birthday :D
then we finally moved and waited for bus 31

we dumped our bags at some table and me and carissa headed straight for the beach
while ks n jia qi and the guys preferred to play with the volleyball ks brought :)
me n carissa were totally enjoying it (well me not so much coz i had a blister on my leg from going to ks's hse for the geog thingy - we played volley barefooted and i was, as usual, a disaster)
we played with the sand and the waves
then erm yan shen bry and brandon and shannon and alicia and heather and (did jia qi come down? i tink so, hu wouldnt??!!) came down
the guys came to "disturb" me and carissa tranquility at the sea
ok la i not so bad la
more like join in the fun?

i drew a huge "6A'08" on the beach and a pic of it is on the class bloggie thanks to bry :D
neways then carissa and i decided to walk to the end where there was this huge rock (of course man put it there la - the surface was perfectly flat)
and on the way we were picking up rubbish from the sea
carissa made me by waddling into the water to try and pick up some gigantic piece of wood and demanded that i helped her
so i did and we almost got wet trying
at least we did it :)
yah we eventually got to the rock and the bit of water next to the rock was perfectly unpolluted and clear, i had to snap a pic of it :)
when we tried to get up on the rock, it was like burning hot and we were barefooted
we had left our flops at the table you see
yah so we abandoned mission and went back
not exactly abandoned lah
we just went bak to get our slippers and cheryl :D

so the three of us were sitting on the rock and i snapped pics :D
sad cannot post coz yah i lost that cable
unless i can borrow frm carissa :D

when we got bak, sicong and tengkiat were there too :D

ok the thing is all the girls took doubles and all the guys took singles.

we took off and at first me and carissa had a bit of d prob...
carissa said the basket was annoying and couldnt balance since she took the front
and when we tried to swap places,
i was too short for the front and carissa said the handles poked her everytime we peddled
so we just had to make do :D
after many failed attempts and swaying dangerously, we finally did it!! xD
yah so we cycled with shannon and jia qi and alicia and heather and ruiyu, brandon n yan shen
towards changi beach :D
carissa and i made a pit stop at a kiosk coz i wanted coke
and i discovered i could do anything at the back :)
which meant i could drink coke, take pics and videos
coz i was not the one controlling :p
oh did i mention that carissa was "eating" aeroplanes the whole party?
coz of some show...
anyways at first she was scared to let go of the handles to eat the planes,
then under my efficient coaxing, she overcame her fear and got what she wanted xD
god im sounding like a doctor or something...
yah then we stopped at the bedok dock
and turned bak coz mel called us and said that the road crossing safety thing was on the right, not the left
yah so we went bak
and then erm
oh ya on the way bak we met mel n germine walking on the road :D
they were free xD
oh we also met ogin
she said she was going home
dunno y...
ah then carissa go and change the bike erm wads that called...
ah ya gears
so we had to peddle MORE and carissa said she didnt noe how to change bak
and i could have killed her there and then...
so in the end i fixed it :p and ya we went bak to the table thing and parked our bikes
then slowly all of them returned
except dingjie and oh qi yuan
ohoh and rach and gladys and nikki were there too xDD
so happy xD
ya so went down to the sea again
this time the whole fab5 went :D
except ks returned to play soccer or something like that
yah then carissa and mel were writing aaron yan ya lun on the sand
so i got pissed (did i mention i tink the guy is sissy? - no offence)
and started destroying the writings
then miss cheryl tried splashing water on me coz i was wearing white...
then mel took my slippers!!! n dun wan return!!!
i had to run to the rock and back in 20 secs flat before she could return me!!
:O
but in the end i got them bak
and then all three of them started throwing water on me!!!
i got my back wet (but luckily with plain water frm carissa's bottle)
and successfully escaped carissa throwing sea water from an empty coke 1.5 litres bottle at me :D
so i ran to ks for help and somehow ended up as goalie for the other team with jiaqi and ruiyu
the only player on our team was brandon
three against our one
...
right, after that carissa and mel and cheryl wanted to change so i followed to the macs toilet and erm "freshened up" :) like washing my legs and feet and slippers
oh and combing my hair
although none of them made any difference :D
carissa changed into her sch orientation shirt
and cheryl changed into her class tee
mel changed into shorts :D
her school thing made her wear some track pants rite?
ya :)
so after that we fooled around somemore
went to the sea a few more times
then decided to return the bikes :D
that was a pretty erm...
not memorable situation :p
briefly, we couldnt collect our ezlink cards when we returned our bikes coz the reciept was with ong ding jie who, was at the moment at CHANGI BEACH with oh qi yuan
yah
so we went bak to wait for them and we went bak to the rock once more :)
mel didnt want to follow coz she said smth bout shannon's dad coming soon to pick them up
so sad coz the rock was really nice...
by that time was abt 5 something le
so the sky was a bit red :D
really nice :)
esp frm the rock
yah but the bit of sea next to the rock was like totally transformed!!
HORRORS, it was now littered with bits of black wood...
and we were only gone for like 2 hrs...
amazing rite? in a bad way
wadev then oh qi yuan came up and gave cheryl her ezlink card
and so we all went bak
and decided to get some FOOD :D
mel and shannon and erm alicia and heather and germine (? i not sure :P have bad memory) had to go coz shannon's dad was here ya so just the 4 of us (ks cheryl n carissa n me) went to subway and got some foodie :D
i shared one 12 inch sub with cheryl n we dapaoed bak to the table
dunno when did gladys n nikki n rach leave but i dun tink they were there when we came bak...
neways, i wanted to eat on the rock
but there were so many ppl already and cheryl had already unwrapped the sub
so i let cheryl eat first while i ate my cookie with carissa down at the beach :D
i had one from the sandwich meal
and bought 3 xtra :D
did i mention i absolutely L-O-V-E subway cookies? xD
so we were sitting on the sand
and carissa was like yi bian chi subway, yi bian chi aeroplanes
im serious.

we were also talking about stuff like the class gathering and if we wanted to like hold another one in dec

i hope so :D
ya n she was showing me like how all the ships light looked as it got dark
i tell you, it was really nice
pity my phone batt conked out
or i wud have snapped more of the red clouds and the boat lights :D
and about the aeroplane eating thing, i dunno where all those planes come from!
i take off my eye from the sky for ONE moment
and the next moment carissa was eating another plane
...

ya then aft eating, the whole class (or wad was left of it) played captains ball :D
us girls were seriously outnumbered so we got bry and nys to help us :)

ya so it was unfair :)
but in the end the all guys team still won (expected - mostly)
we took a rest aft that coz carissa mum was arriving
and then NG YAN SHEN uncapped his bottle and started throwing water around
!!!
he sorta tried to throw some at me but i ran n tot i was safe
but then i realised my bag was right in front of him
and i was right...
my whole bag was wet!!!
i went and screamed at him!!
ANGRY...
then carissa, jiaqi, cheryl, nys, bry brandon, like almost all of them left coz they tompang carissa mum's car :)
so onli me ks, dingjie, tengkiat and ohqiyuan left
n we played soccer :D
erm i tot i was gonna b another failure but at least i made it close enough to score and fast enough to run bak and defend from tengkiat and dingjie ALL ON MY OWN :)

just debating over macs or kfc and complaining y the food took so long to arrive :)
in the end we chose kfc

neways yesterday ok la
i watched tv for like the whole day
but before lunch i baked cookies from betty crockers cookie mix
and after lunch i tried to do some swiss roll thing but didnt really work
it failed twice!!
coz the sponge part not baked properly in the middle
but the sides burnt already
and im using a new oven!!
arrrgh...
ya so i spent like 4 hrs just TRYING to do that roll thingy
never got to eat it
just threw away both times
coz it was really inedible :D

den i got so frustrated so just watched tv
all the way to dinner time lorhs :)
so my mum bought a cake and we went to my ahma hse to like celebrate a bit lor
just my family, gpa n gma, and aunt and two cuzzins :D
coz my aunt n cousins staying wif my grandparents
so ya dats all :D
my cake was from sweet secrets
and i just realised that the sweet secrets box was actually the dictionary meaning of "sweet" n "secrets"

so i cut it out and kept it
last time used to buy all our cakes from sweet secrets near my ahma hse
but than switch to prima deli serangoon gardens coz i tink it nearer

:D just came bak from christine's hse
was watching twilight wif her
and i found out its really kinda nice :D
Her mum rented it from videoezy or something like that
but that edward guy is really kinda scary, with that white (not pale, WHITE) face and blood red lips
kinda like a guy version of snow white
wait, snow white has more colour than him!!
anyway ive seen him on ellen (that tv reality show) and he looks nicer in real life than in the movie.
i thought it was supposed to be the opposite.
but didnt finish the movie (its not pirated)
had to go home... :(

i tell u, our group is super awesome!!
today is fri right?
i finished choeographing the dance on tues and my awesome group learnt the at least 5 mins dance in 2 days!!
im so proud of them!!
and u noe, the prizes were:

but sadly, after all our hard work,

coz when the girl (called orked)
pronounced as orchid
went to buy cds from the guy (Jason)'s shop,
they were like staring at each other...
i think its a little cliche
but now i dun think so... :)
anyway jason finds a way to slip orked his number
and they start dating
but then jason makes a loan shark's sister pregnant (dun ask me why)
(its a bit of nc16 i think)
then orked refuses to ans his calls or something like that
then she gets a scholarship to england
so on the day she was to leave,
jason wanted to go to the airport to like see her
but he never got there coz he was shot or involved in some kinda accident on the road
and died.
but the thing i find weird is the last part
when orked is in the car calling jason for one last time,
they showed us the scene where jason was lying on the floor all bloodied
then they show us that someone answered jasons call from orked
weird right
i mean jason was already dead and then he answers his phone
and "he" talked to orked in perfect boyfriend language
like i will be waiting for you
stuff like that.
WEIRD.
zia said it was jason's bestie who killed him and answered his phone, pretending to be jason
coz he also liked orked
dunno.
but i tink the main point is that
during the show, the malay and chinese friends of both the boy and girl kept like discriminating the other race
yeah
but i still wanna understand the ending!!

hi posting this in school b4 i go home :D
i just finished 2 whole hours of dancing the guides dance thing
and we finally made it!!! :DDD
yay so happy.
but now my head is throbbing like siao

has been like that since mon...
anyway we went to arab street for sabats yesterday
and i bought this gasing (a malay top)
and i can actually play it! :D
then i also bought two beaded boxes for cheryl
finally got her prezzie done :)
then today that mrs piggy carissa go and give me my bday present
i hate her lor
coz i dun like opening presents on days that are NOT my birthday
so now i have to be kept in suspense
all thanks to carissa lim

she would probably argue that its mrs aaron yan ya lun
but i dun care.

and looks like the date is going to be from 9th to 14th or something like that
and they actually wanna go macs to eat :@

this is gonna b a really fast one coz i still have homework :D
I just finished coeographing (or however you spell it) one step at a time for gg talenttime! :)
but some parts look a bit lame though
and the thing is one step at a time keeps repeating the chorus like 3 times at the end,
so i want to change the last chorus to something else
as in the dance,
not the song :)
then we only have wed, thurs and fri lunches to practice
not to mention that we also have another dance to learn since we r using 2 songs...
so i propose staying back aft sch on thurs for like 1 or 2 hrs
to DANCE!

ok,
carissa wanted to go to east coast
now that we ARE going,
she wants to eat at macs or subway or something like that
i mean,
those fast food restos completely kill the point of going to the beach!!
might as well drop by some shopping mall or something to eat
no need to go all the way to the beach
and whats with barbecues being troublesome?
its not gonna be those high class style barbecue ok
not all those barbecue parties where one sad person does all the barbecueing while the rest pile around chatting
if we really have a barbecue,
im gonna make sure everyone barbecues their own food
and i tell you barbecueing your own food is damn fun lor
OMG at the rate im typing...
ok dont digress
so back to the point,
and setting up the fire and all is really hands on and bonding time
its really hard to explain but if i gave you two choices:
1. barbecue on the beach with that lovely evening sky, sound of splashing waves and breezy wind carcassing (however you spell it) your face
or
2. queuing up for your food and giving MONEY to the CASHIER and then receiving your food on a tray in cardboard boxes and paper cups, then eating it in a super squished seat with air cond blasting. So many artificial stuff like advertisements and stuff like that
ok, so mayb i described the beach one nicer
but that doesnt change the fact that obviously no1 is nicer!!
No1 is natural
and no2 is artificial
but i tell you,
in no 2, all those bright lights in the fast food resto will kill the atmosphere
while the lovely evening sunlight (or whats left of it) in no1 is so romantic and stuff like that
so spacious, dreamy, and you have a choice of standing or seating oh and one other very important factor
when you are on the beach or any spacious place,
it feels like you are in your own world with your friends
while in a resto, there r still other ppl around who might stare if wadever happens
and i find it very hard to describe
but you must experience it yourself to truly understand
so im warning the 6a peeps first
if you guys wanna go for a fast food dinner,
dont count on seeing me in that resto.
and you know what,
rachel actually agrees with me
we dont understand why some ppl cant see
the vast difference between one and the other and which one is obviously the more suitable choice.
i hope 6a peeps can see this post
and so we can have barbecue by the sand and sea
under that black blue evening sky.

until i found a cockroach on my table
i freaked out ok,

TOTALLY FREAKED OUT!!
OMG
that was the scariest thing i ever experienced
having a cockroach on my hands without my mum or dad
creepy i tell u
then we covered the cockroach with tupperware
since all of us didnt dare 2 kill it,
we left it under the tupperware for the whole night
den the next day aft school
i decided it had to go
(see i so brave rite?)
haha
oh ya xuannie covered the cockroach with a postcard b4 d tupperware
so the cockroach was under the postcard which was under the tupperware
ya
ok then sum1 lifted up the tupperware
(i was so afraid that the cockroach wud fly)
and i started smacking like siao with my precious slipper
oi that slipper had gems on it ok!
then i threw my chi file on it too and started smacking again
and when i lifted up my file,
we (Zia xuannie n me)
all freaked out and ran to the other side of the room
wiithout even seeing the cockroach
hahas xD
then since i couldnt handle cockroaches, i couldnt handle DEAD ones even more.
Zia HAD to choose then to go and bathe
so i made xuannie get rid of it xD

i arrived @ abt 3pm, den played and played till ks came,

until we told mel that chen xiao zhang might b coming

coz mr chin's wife is carissa's parent's the ex-classmate or something

so mel just HAD to say he wouldnt come...

5 seconds later, carissa's mum came into the room and said she had a surprise 4 us

Mr chin's face appeared

Wad could we do? so we just smiled

I could have killed mel xDD

but i wont

Anyway later cheryl n her sis came then she oso got shocked and her sis just freaked out

ya then we continued playing
